In order to pursue my personal growth and endeavors, I formally left home on August 10th. If you haven’t read that article yet, you can do so here.
721 Uber/Grab operates more than 150 flights and 130 distinct reservations through booking.com A brief summary of the locations visited thus far.
What were the advantages of spending three years overseas?
The biggest lesson that you learn from such a trip is to be patient and put your time to better use, since you are constantly made to venture out of your comfort zone, more so when traveling to newer territories.
Be sure to check your health status.
By this, what am I to mean? I mean that you need to be careful as to where and what you eat, especially in Asian countries since hygiene is sometimes zero. Being out cold for three to seven days because of a bacterial infection is the last thing you want to happen. It was more normal for this to happen up to four or six times in a year in the first couple of years, but I was able to bring it down to two to three times a year by just being aware and taking necessary precaution.
Take a stylish, economical, and always minimalist trip.
For me, this was the most significant one. In addition to making travel less stressful, the minimalist aspect helped you identify what you truly need each day, week, month, and year. My regular consumption of necessities has decreased from 70% in 2014–2015 to 20% in 2017–2018. Although it wasn’t simple, I assure you that it is possible!
What previously mattered?
Expensive vehicles, expensive items, etc. My health doesn’t need to be purposefully neglected; what matters now?
Boost your bank account’s zeros
Build your wealth and maintain your health.
When I say “travel in style,” I mean getting dressed up for your flights. Believe me! Helping you occasionally get upgraded for free might be a huge deal maker or breaker.
The next most crucial thing is to become a minimalist, which is almost as important as traveling in elegance. It will satisfy your sales inclination and works out just as well as getting a decent flight price.
How do you continue to be productive?
I’ve realized that it’s critical to get rid of as many time wasters as you can, depending on your travel schedule and speed.
Drink at least 0.5–1L of water as soon as you wake up to be hydrated (see Anna for additional information on morning rituals, for instance).
What should I wear today?
What am I going to eat today?
How to do and arrange laundry
Where can I find a reliable and speedy place to work these days?
hydration throughout the day, exercise regimen, breaks, and off-time
Using this as your basic guidance will help you create a solid outline and give you the balance you need to complete tasks every day. Try using a time tracking service like Controlio if you also want to keep an eye on your productivity and areas where you tend to squander time. It can be really enlightening.
For my part, I’m still waiting for Controlio to provide some cool reporting dashboard to spot trends (like when you’re most productive, how frequently a task was halted for almost an hour, since this is my typical break time for focused tasks, or many other cool intelligence data, which they would already have based on collection methods).
The year’s best flights
KLM Business class upgrade from Bali to Singapore: 100 euros (particularly if you’re traveling from Singapore to Bali)
Scoot Biz Singapore to Athens (If you’re good and fortunate, you can ride in style on a cheap ticket with Scootbiz)
Zurich — Kuala Lumpur — Oman Air Economy
If you choose to upgrade to emergency seats, Air Asia is always a terrific value. Naturally, flying with any of the other Gulf airlines—Emirates, Etihad, and Qatar—is always enjoyable.
